Puppies turned 6 weeks old this weekend. Time is flying by and they are keeping us busy. They get up at 5 AM every day to go out and potty which is VERY early but we are happy to do it because we haven’t had any poos inside for about 5 days now. WooHoo! They are still eating softened food, dry kibbles and a little milk from mom when they can corner her. Their personalities are really coming out and we’ve started sorting out who is a prospect to stay here and who is better suited for a companion home. They have had a few sets of visitors and love visiting Grandpa through the fence. Nothing seems to scare these puppies, even the vacuum, although our new vacuum is much more quiet than the old dyson.
This week we will continue with transitioning to all solid food. We will continue socialization with lots of people and we will introduce some fun obstacles in the yard and pen. Their eye exams are scheduled for Friday. Fun trip in the car! We will also start bringing them into the vet for their exams starting at 7 weeks.
Below are some 6 week photos.
