Snow and more snow! The puppies are getting out 4-5 times a day and are loving it. They do get cold after about 15 minutes and a few of them have figured out where the door is and that it goes to a warm place.
They are eating mostly solid food now (Purina ProPlan Puppy Chicken and Rice). They are pooping mostly outside. I think if we got up in the middle of the night when they start fussing, they’d be 100%, but no way. It’s too cold out there. They are mostly peeing on the pads we provide. Hopefully that will help their new homes with potty training.
We’ve had many questions about how their temperaments are. This litter is unlike any I’ve ever had. They are all so similar. There is not one that’s shy, or one that’s aggressive. They are all fun and playful and can calm down when picked up. We’re thrilled. At this point, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of the puppies to any of the homes that have asked.
So, the question you’re probably asking is: Which one are you going to keep?
I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but we are concentrating on all 3 tail-less puppies right now. We wanted to keep a puppy with a tail so bad, but they just aren’t, conformation wise, the right ones to keep.
What does that mean? That means if you’re open to a tail, you’re in a good spot. If you don’t want one, I can’t tell you much for another week or so. 😦
If anyone wants to come visit this weekend, please let me know. We are probably driving Moolah back down to her home on Saturday morning.
